Hey there, Winters ISD community! We've got some exciting news to share with you all. We're thrilled to introduce Kathy Horner as our Interim Superintendent of Schools. With her extensive background in education and leadership, Mrs. Horner brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this role.
For those who've been with us for a while, you recognize Mrs. Horner, as the Director of Curriculum for the past 4 years, and prior to this she was Principal and Dean of Students at Winters Secondary schools. Together with Kathy’s leadership, we're looking forward to continuing to provide a top-notch education for our students and supporting our incredible staff.

During Elementary lunch in the cafeteria a student reported a student said they had a gun in their backpack. Administration and authorities were immediately notified. Student was removed from the cafeteria without incident. An investigation has occurred, no firearm was found, and all facilities are secured.

May 23rd is the last day to order 2023-2024 yearbooks and senior ads. Order forms are located in the Junior High and High School offices.
JH Awards Day will be held Thursday, May 16th at 1pm in the HS auditorium.
WHS FFA students, Brazos, Remi, Guillermo, and Kaelynn along with their advisor, Mrs. Conlee attended the Area IV Convention in Wichita Falls today.
Kaelynn placed first in Sr. Prepared Public Speaking Animal Science, advancing to State! This is her 4th time as a state qualifier.
Kaelynn also got inducted as one of the 2024-2025 Area IV Vice Presidents today! Way to go Winters FFA!
